Refunds
Full refunds for Delegate Fees are available up until September 30th. After which, cancellations will come with a 50% refund. Delegation fees are non-refundable. The Gunn MUN Team will contact you through email to complete the full transaction if a refund is wanted.
Technology
For in-person committees, you may use your laptop when when writing resolutions and/or at the chairs discretion. Cell phone use is prohibited unless of emergencies, in which you may step out of the room for a call.
Pre-Written Resolutions
In contrast to the previous year both pre-written clauses and fully written resolutions are prohibited. If a delegate is suspected of pre-writing a resolution they may not be able to fully participate in committee and their resolution will be disregarded. Delegates should draft resolutions during committee only in the time allotted to do so.
Working on resolutions during breaks and lunch time is also prohibited at the chair's discretion. Similar to pre-written resolutions, resolutions worked on during breaks without explicit permission from the chair may result in the disqualification of the resolution.

Plagiarism
Plagiarism is a serious issue and is never allowed at GMUNC. If a delegate's position paper or resolution is found to be plagiarized, they will no longer be allowed to participate in awards and their paper will be disregarded. When writing, please make sure to give credit where it is due with citations. We would much rather see a delegate try their best than see a perfect paper written by someone else.
Bullying
GMUNC will not tolerate any type of bullying, harassment, or anything similar whether it is directly or indirectly aimed at someone else. GMUNC prides itself on being a novice conference where delegates of any level can take the opportunity experience committee in a safe and encouraging space. Cyber-bullying of any sort will have harsh consequences. If anyone is being mistreated of feels unsafe, please talk to a chair or any member of the Secretariat, and the situation will be dealt with accordingly.
Dress Code
For all types of committees, Western Business Attire is encouraged, but not required.
Communication
GMUNC's main goal is to provide a fun, safe, learning environment (even throughout these uncertain times) where delegates can meet and experience what makes Model UN so amazing. To better achieve that goal, we ask that delegates feel comfortable communicating with us if there are any questions or concerns during or after the conference (see contact). This means giving or asking for feedback, research on your topic, questions about how a committee is set up, what to bring, etc. Help us help you.
COVID-19
As of right now, masks will not be mandated. However, seeing as the COVID-19 situation is quite unpredictable, our COVID-19 policies and restrictions may change.
